Tickets are only available for purchase on the day of visit from our ticketing counter. We do not sell tickets in the car parks and we do not allow any tickets to be sold on our premises. If you are approached by a member of the public to purchase tickets, we cannot guarantee that the tickets are valid for entry and you may be asked to purchase ticket from our ticketing counter in order to enter the park.

Proof of identification is required for children age up to 12 years old (mykid or birth certificate) and senior citizen age 60 years old and above (mykad) when purchasing tickets or upon entering the park at the admission turnstile. Butterfly House (Pg) Sdn Bhd reserves the right to reject entries if visitors are not able to present their valid MyKad and/or other relevant documents upon entry to the park at the admission turnstile; or attempt to enter the park using wrong or fraud tickets. Visitors will be requested to purchase the correct tickets or to top up the price difference should they wish to enter the park and no refund will be allowed.

Mykad Special is available for Malaysian citizens with valid mykad holders, permanent residents, holders of employment passes, work permits or dependant passes at the ticketing counter.

Online purchase of Mykad Special is only available for Malaysian citizen with valid Mykad.
Valid Mykad numbers must be entered for online Mykad Special ticket purchase.

Free admission is available for child 3 years old and below and people with disabilities upon presentation of O.K.U card.

Complimentary / Special Entrance Passes From Our Events

Redeem your park entry at our Priority Lane at the ticketing counter using your entrance pass.

Adult entrance pass is only valid for person age 13 to 59 years old. Child / Senior Citizen entrance pass is only valid for either child age from 4 to 12 years old or senior citizen age from 60 years old and above. Each pass is valid for one person and single redemption only.

Only original entrance pass is accepted. Photocopies, scanned or digital copies will not be entertained.

Entrance pass must be claimed and redeemed on or before the expiry date, after which the pass is null and void. The pass is not exchangeable for cash, refunds and is not meant for any resale purposes.

The pass is not valid in conjunction with any other form of promotions or special events, rebates and any other discounts including groups and concession rates.

Lost, damaged or stolen complimentary pass will not be replaced. It will be considered null and void if without the expiry dates, authorised seal or if tampered with.

Student Rate & School Group Concession

For walk-in students, we do not provide any special student rate. However, we are supporting students and teachers through the school group concession rates. For more information on getting a school group concession, kindly contact 04-8888 123 or email learning@entopia.com.

Friends of Entopia Membership Packages (Currently Unavailable)

Friends of Entopia (FOE) membership programme is currently unavailable.

Visiting Hours & Duration of Visit

Our park opens from 9.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. everyday. Last entry and last ticket purchase is at 5.00 p.m.

On average, it will take approximately two and a half hours to complete a full self-tour of Entopia. Please note that the park consists of an indoor section and outdoor section where visitors are free to roam around in both sections.

Online Ticket Purchase / E-Ticket

Upon completion of your ticket purchase online, an e-mail notification and your e-ticket will be sent to your e-mail address provided during the ticket purchase transaction.

We recommend you to use a personal e-mail address for your ticket purchase. If you used your work e-mail for the transaction and have not received the e-mail notification, do check your Spam folder. It is possible that your employer has marked this as Spam. However, if you have not received any e-mail notification or your e-ticket, do contact us at 013-425 2830 or email online.ticketing@entopia.com for further assistance.

The e-ticket is intended for single redemption and single entry only.

Bulk purchase of e-tickets in a single transaction are NOT allowed to be redeemed separately.

All transactions are final and non-refundable under any circumstances. E-tickets are NOT for re-sale and NOT exchangeable for cash.

E-ticket is valid for forty-five (45) days, (NOT before or after), after which the e-ticket will be NULL and VOID.

Expired e-ticket will NOT be acknowledged, extended replaced or refunded.

Tickets are rain or shine. No refund will be given due to inclement weather. Please check the weather forecast before purchasing ticket(s) online.

Scan the QR code(s) printed your e-ticket at the admission turnstile to enter.

Family packages are not available for purchase online.

Group, corporate, school concession rates, all existing card discounts and/or other discounts and promotions are not applicable with online ticket purchase.

Entry Redemption

Proof of age will be required when redeeming entries for children and senior citizens. 

Each ticket holder must present their valid MyKad or other relevant documents upon entry to the park at the admission turnstile. Butterfly House (Pg) Sdn Bhd reserves the right to reject entries if visitors are not able to present their valid MyKad or other relevant documents; or attempt to enter the park using wrong tickets. The price differences shall be chargeable should they wish to enter the park and no refund is allowed.

For tickets purchased from the ticketing counter, kindly scan the QR code printed on your ticket for entry.

For tickets purchased online, you may flash your e-ticket through mobile or a print-out copy and scan the QR code(s) directly at the admission turnstile to enter. QR code(s) must be clear and scannable.

Same Day Park Re-entry is Not Allowed

Same-day park re-entry is not permitted. Once you exit the park, re-entry on the same day is not allowed. Please plan your visit accordingly and make sure to enjoy all the experiences before leaving Entopia for the day.

Allowed Payment Method for Tickets

For walk-in purchase, we accept cash, debit/credit card (Master, Visa, China Union Pay, JCB) and selected e-wallets payment at the ticketing counter.

For online purchase, we accept debit/credit card (Master, Visa, China Union Pay, JCB), most of the e-wallets payment and internet bank transfer (FPX).

Personal and travellers cheques are not accepted.

All transactions final and non-refundable. Please note that no refund will be given due to inclement weather.

If you are coming via Georgetown, use the coastal route that starts from Tanjong Tokong which can lead you all the way to Teluk Bahang. You will travel through Tanjung Bungah and Batu Feringghi which are along the way before Teluk Bahang. Upon reaching Teluk Bahang, you will see a roundabout with a giant pitcher plant sculpture. At this roundabout, take the first exit to the left (9 o’clock turn) and go straight for another 1.5km to reach Entopia.

You can also reach Entopia by taking taxi or either one of the following public transport:

501 (Balik Pulau to Teluk Bahang).

Guests With Disabilities

Two parking bays for handicap/O.K.U. visitors are available.

Handicap/O.K.U. restrooms are available at all restroom locations.

Parking Bays

Entopia has a total of 67 parking bays for car and 2 parking bays for coach.

Parking is free of charge but park at your own risk. Handicap parking is available and is located near the turnstiles / beside the ticketing counter. 

Car parks are also available opposite Entopia, belonging to Perbadanan Bekalan Air (PBA).

Weather

Visitors are encouraged to check the weather forecast before their visits or making ticket purchases. Visitors arriving on a rainy day are encouraged to visit [ The Cocoon ] indoor section first.

No refund or claims shall be entertained for any unsuitable weather conditions or temperature in park or building.

General Park Rules

Pets and other living things are not allowed in all areas of the park at all times.

Smoking is strictly not allowed in the park and building (gardens and indoor).

Do not litter. Please use the designated recycled bins in the park.

Visitors shall not disturb any exhibits, animals and insects by any means, including any attempt to handle them unless supervised and allowed by our Nature Activity Personnel.

Do not feed any animals or throw any food into the exhibits or animal enclosure.

Leave the wildlife around you, untouched. Plucking of flowers is prohibited.

Catching of live butterflies and collecting of dead specimens are strictly NOT allowed. Any person found catching or have removed any specimens from the park will be fined. Furthermore, if the person is caught possessing the protected species by DWNP without license, the accused will face a maximum fine of RM50,000 and/or a maximum of 2 years jail sentence.

Any solicitation or third party selling of any items are prohibited within the premises.

Taking any of the organisation’s property are prohibited. Anyone caught and recorded through our CCTV will be prosecuted.

Gambling of any form is prohibited in Entopia.

Dangerous acts such as climbing the cave rocks or any trees is not allowed.

No liability or responsibility is accepted by Entopia for any injury, illness, damage, loss, accident, expense, or any other claim arising from involvement of the prohibited activities.

Please adhere to all safety signs in the park.

Tickets are available for purchase only from the ticketing counters. We never sell tickets in the car parks neither do we allow any party or individual or staff to sell tickets on our premises. If you are approached by a member of the public to purchase our tickets we cannot guarantee they are valid for entry and you may be asked to pay again.

Prohibited Items

The following items are prohibited to enter the park:

Remote control flying gadgets such as drones, planes, etc.
Personal vehicles such as segways, roller blades, roller skates, skateboards, wheeled-shoes, etc.
All alcoholic drinks such as beer, wine, whisky, vodka, etc.
Weapons and sharp objects of any kind such as knifes, blades, guns, explosives, etc.
Fireworks and firecrackers of any kind.

Food & Drinks

Any picnic activity, outside food and drinks are not allowed in the park with the exception of those for infants and special needs.

The Tapestree restaurant and Tapestree To-Go provides food and drinks and dining location for all visitors.

Food & Beverage by Tapestree

Cafe: Our F&B outlet, Tapestree, is located at the outdoor garden (Natureland) and is able to accommodate up to 80 guests at any one time. The cafe offers asian and western fusion dishes.

Visitors who are not entering the park can access the cafe and be seated at our Retail Outlet.

Opening Hours:
10:00am to 5:00pm.

Outside Food and Drinks: Our cafe observes a STRICTLY NO OUTSIDE FOOD AND DRINKS policy.

Dietary Concerns: For specific dietary concerns or restrictions, information about how our food is prepared and their approximate cost, you may enquire with any of our cafe staff.

Private Function: Tapestree caters for private functions for at a maximum of 20 pax. Meanwhile, we do have a larger function rooms (The Sphere & The Stellar) that can cater for bigger private events. Kindly e-mail sales@entopia.com or call 013-425 2830 to enquire.

Helpful Hints

What to wear:

It’s a tropical sanctuary, wear something light and comfortable for the climate.

There’s a big chance for butterflies to land on you if you wear red, orange or yellow clothing.

Wear comfortable footwear too, the entire Entopia pathway is 1.18km long.

Selfie with a Butterfly: We do not advise that you chase butterflies for selfies. It is also prohibited to hold them by the wings. The best way is to act like a flower. Find a bench to sit or stay put for a while to allow the butterflies to land on you.

Best Time to Visit Natureland: Visit on a good sunny day and early in the morning where most butterflies are on flight.

Safety

Security Checks & CCTV: Our security officers will conduct bag checks at the entrance to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all visitors.

The park and building is under full CCTV surveillance and security checks and monitoring are done 24 hours. Public activities are recorded for safety and security and other purposes. You are encouraged to read our Privacy Policy before entering the park and we adhere strictly to PDPA laws.

Children: Children must be accompanied by adults or guardians at all times.

Use of Travellator: Wheelchairs and strollers are strictly not allowed on the travellator. Wheelchair users can use the Public Lift service for accessing other levels in the building.

Parents and guardians must accompany their children when using the travellator, and they must ensure their children do not run up and down on the travellator.

Emergency & First Aid

Should the emergency alarm goes off, all visitors are to proceed calmly to the car park area through the nearest exit doors and fire doors. Our Emergency Response Team will assist all visitors for evacuation.

Any accidents should be reported to any of our staff immediately. First Aid assistance and the Automated External Defibrillator (AED) are available through our Information Counter.

The Information Counter is located right after the turnstiles (wristband scanners) upon entering the park.

Visitor Conduct

Clothing: Appropriate clothing is required under the Malaysian Laws. Clothing with obscene language is prohibited.

Games: Visitors or groups conducting games and various fun activities is required to obtain approval from the park management.

Tobacco Use: Please do not smoke or use tobacco products, including e-cigarettes, anywhere except in designated smoking areas outside the building.

Respect: Please be respectful to all visitors and property of the park and building. Unruly, disruptive or offensive behavior and profanity is strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated. Any form of accidents with properties/exhibits/objects should be reported to any of our staff immediately and you will be forgiven however vandalism will be charged under law with cost of damages billed to the perpetrator.

We sincerely appreciate your cooperation. Those who do not comply may be asked to leave the building and may be escorted off park grounds by our security. In addition, non-compliant visitors may lose all visiting privileges.

Videography and Photography

Pre-wedding videos/pictures, Commercial Filming/Photography (Broadcasting, Advertising, Marketing and Publishing in any medium) requires prior discussion, consideration and approval from the management of Entopia prior to the filming/photography date at least 14 days in advance.

Lost & Found and Lockers

Lost and Found Items: All items that are found and handed over, can be claimed at our Information Counter located at the Entrance Foyer.

Lockers: We do not have lockers available but you may leave any non-valuables at our Information Counter located at the Entrance Foyer which is open until 5:00pm.

Please take note that Entopia will not be held responsible for any lost property or item if you decide to leave your items at our counter.

Souvenir Outlet

Our souvenir outlet is conveniently located at the end of your journey. For visitors that do not wish to enter the park, they can be accessed through the Exit area.

Payment Methods: We accept cash, credit or debit cards (Visa, MasterCard and China Union cards)

Foreign Currencies: We accept selected foreign currencies. Exchange rates information are available at the cashier counter.

Operating Hours: Entopia Store is open from 10:00am to 6:00pm and closed every Wednesday.

Item Exchange or Refund: All items sold are non-refundable but can be exchanged within seven days from the date of purchase with the original receipt and item should be in original condition (Unused, Unworn, unwashed, with the original tag attached and original packaging or with any related accessories included). Nett Price item and item with discount or special promotion is not allow to exchange.

If the new exchange item is of a higher price, difference in amount are to be borne by the customer and if the new exchange item is of a lower price, there is NO cash refund provided.
The company’s decision is final in each and any exchanges or returns request.

 

Daily Nature Learning Activities

Our Nature Learning Activities are conducted free of charge for paying visitors but on a first come first serve basis and they are conducted on a schedule.

Some of our Nature Learning Activities are done outdoors and these activities may be performed subject to weather conditions.

All visitors to Entopia must abide to all safety policies and to accept responsibility for their own safety. We will not be help responsible or liable in whatsoever manner for any accidents, loss, damage, injury, illness and/or death suffered or incurred by you, which may arise as a result of your participation.

No reservation is required nor allowed for our daily nature learning activities.

School Groups and other Concession Rates

We do provide concession rates for big school groups. To request the special concession rates, kindly email learning@entopia.com or call 04-8888 123.

Orphanages/old folks home/ Non-profit organisations (NGO) Discount: Group discounts for 20 pax or more for NGO’s are available by sending us an official letter of request to learning@entopia.com

Camping during a visiting basis is not allowed in Entopia.
