Job Summary:
The HR Manager is a strategic, hands-on leader responsible for the full spectrum of Human Resources functions at Entopia. This role requires an experienced managerial and supervisory professional who will drive strategic HR planning, ensure meticulous compliance, foster a positive and productive work culture, and manage all employee lifecycle activities with a balance of firmness and friendliness. The Manager will be aligning people strategies with Entopia’s overall business goals.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and initiatives that directly support Entopia’s business objectives and growth plans.
• Take accountability for the HR department’s performance, manage HR budgets, and ensure adherence to best practices and regulatory compliance.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise the HR team and administrative staff, fostering a culture of high performance, confidentiality, and exceptional service delivery.
• Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, including workforce planning, sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding, to attract and retain top talent.
• Design and manage the performance appraisal system. Identify training needs, coordinate learning and development programs, and manage succession planning.
• Manage the company’s compensation structure, payroll processes, benefits administration, and incentive schemes, ensuring internal equity and market competitiveness.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees on workplace issues, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure the company’s full compliance with all local labor laws, regulations (e.g., Employment Act), and statutory requirements. Maintain, update, and communicate all employee handbooks and HR policies.
• Meticulously manage and document all disciplinary and grievance procedures fairly and consistently.
• To prepare HR month-end reports and year-end budgets.
• To build brand culture and to drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, morale, and organizational culture in alignment with Entopia’s values.
• Lead the security team including the security guards to ensure the safety of the premise for staff and visitors. Oversee and ensure the continuous and effective provision of security services for the entire premise. This includes vendor selection, performance monitoring, contract renewal, and ensuring service level agreements
(SLAs) are met.
• Oversee the maintenance of confidential employee records, HR systems (HRIS), and HR data reporting.
• Perform any other task as assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
• At least a bachelor degree in business management, human resource or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years explicitly in a managerial or supervisory role overseeing the full HR spectrum.
• Proven track record in strategic HR planning and successful policy implementation.
• Must be highly meticulous with an exceptional eye for detail in documentation and compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to be firm, fair and friendly—capable of enforcing policies while maintaining excellent employee rapport.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of Malaysian labor laws and regulations.
• Proficient in managing HR Information Systems (HRIS) and payroll processing.

We are seeking a dedicated and forward-thinking Information Technology Section Head / Information Technology Assistant Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of the company’s IT operations and digital infrastructure. This role requires a hands-on leader who can take full accountability for the department’s performance, guide a team of IT officers, and drive continuous improvement through innovation and technology adoption.
The ideal candidate will be responsible not only for maintaining operational stability but also for spearheading digital transformation initiatives, ensuring that all software, hardware, and technology systems effectively support business objectives.
Responsibilities:
• Take full ownership and accountability for the performance and operations of the IT department.
• Lead, mentor, and develop IT officers and technical staff to ensure efficient task execution and professional growth.
• Establish departmental goals, KPIs, and work plans aligned with organizational strategy.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, IT standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, Firewalls, VPN, VLAN).
Hands-on experience with Windows Server, macOS, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).

Job Summary:
This role is responsible for the administrative task within the office included but not limited to building maintenance and housekeeping, coordination and execution of both export and import shipments, ensuring compliance with all regulations and maintaining accurate records. The position involves close collaboration with breeders, shipping agents, customs officials, and the finance department.
Responsibilities:
• Count, inspect, and record pupa received from breeders, ensuring quality and proper documentation. Prepare monthly pupa records for incentive calculations. Maintain cleanliness of pupa containers and work area. Assist with pupa/butterfly delivery as needed.
• Manage the entire export process, including booking shipments, preparing documentation (shipping labels, invoices, permits), packing pupa, coordinating with shipping agents (e.g., DHL), and communicating with customers. Track shipments, address customer feedback, and resolve invoice issues with the finance department. Maintain export sales records.
• Place orders, obtain necessary documentation (permits, invoices, tracking numbers), track shipments, and coordinate customs clearance as needed.
Coordinate and attend inspections at the Penang Wildlife Department for shipments involving protected species.
• Manage export and import permit applications, ensuring accuracy and timely submission. Maintain insect logbooks and prepare them for inspection. Apply for Certificates of Origin (COO) as needed.
Maintain inventory of packing materials, prepare materials for shipments, and place purchase requests for restocking. Organize packing materials for efficient storage.
• Assist in the coordination of facility management, building maintenance and housekeeping on a daily basis.
• Other administrative support include but not limited to manage leave requests and duty rosters for facility and housekeeping departments, place purchase requests, and perform other tasks as needed.
Requirements:
• At least a diploma in business administration, building management or relevant.
• At least 1 – 2 years of administrative or operations support role.
Comfortable handling insect life, including pupae and live specimens.
• Willingness to learn and accurately use the scientific names (taxonomy) of various insects and butterflies.
• Proficient in English and Mandarin (spoken and written) to communicate with clients from foreign countries.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with export/import procedures and regulations is a plus.

Job Summary:
Main responsibility is to promote and encourage visitors to buy products in Entopia Retail Store.
Responsibilities:
• Assist customers by providing product information and promoting the products, offer suggestions and opinions in order to help the customers to make their final decision.
• Assist the cashier in wrapping or packing the purchased goods.
• Assist in customer queries and seek assistance from the next higher rank if necessary.
• Check the quality and quantity of new stock after receiving from the Purchasing department.
• Repack and replenish, store the balance at the respective storage area.
• Assist the Merchandising Manager when comes to monthly and yearly stock take.
• Collect customers’ preferences and feedbacks, report to Merchandising Manager and from time to time.
• Be vigilant within the retail outlet and lookout for shoplifter. Keep the retail outlet clean and tidy at all times.
• Assist Merchandising Manager in displaying the goods and to make sure they are attractively displayed. Must have a high level of products knowledge.
